So here I am, standing in the middle of Bull Run. There's been a drought, so my feet are dry. Normally, there would be about a foot of water here.I'm shooting a vertical panorama of my shadow. Notice that this technique yields great depth of field because each of the individual pictures that make up the final image are in focus. I used to try this with a very wide angle lens, but there was trouble in getting the whole picture sharp.I generally start at the lowest point in the picture and work my way up. Imagine my surprise as I get to the last image on the top, and there's the Hobbitt, in her Farmer Brown outfit, checking things out.
